TicketHound

Privacy Policy

TicketHound ("we", "us") is operated by Robin Nordby, doing business as TicketHound.

Summary

TicketHound's marketing site is a pre-launch waitlist landing page. The only personal data it collects is what you type into the waitlist form: an email address, and optionally a company name if that field is ever added to the form (see note below). We do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of any kind on this site as of this policy's writing. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Data is stored encrypted at rest in AWS in the United States (us-east-1). You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address (required).
  • Company name (optional). Note: as of this policy's publication, the live waitlist form on the site only has an email field; the backend is built to accept an optional company name if we add that field later. This policy covers both cases so it does not need rewriting the day we add the field.

We also record the date and time you signed up, and a fixed internal tag noting the signup came from the website. We do not collect your IP address or browser/device information (user agent) as part of the waitlist signup; the system is deliberately built not to store either.

The form includes a hidden field that only automated bots fill in. If it is filled in, we silently discard the submission and store nothing. This is a spam defense, not a way of collecting extra data about you.

We do not use cookies, web analytics, or third-party tracking scripts on this site. As of this policy's writing, the site makes no third-party connections at all when you visit it: the page's typeface, Instrument Sans, is served from our own domain rather than from Google Fonts or any other external host, so visiting the site does not cause your browser to contact any server we do not control. To be precise about the one interaction that does send data anywhere: merely loading this page contacts only our own infrastructure, and submitting the waitlist form sends your email to our own API endpoint hosted on AWS, described in the storage section below. If this changes (for example, if we add a real analytics tool later), we will update this policy first.

Why we collect it

We use your email address to contact you about TicketHound: to let you know when a waitlist slot opens, and for related updates about the product. We use an optional company name, if collected, to help us understand who is interested and prioritize outreach. We do not use your information for anything else, and joining the waitlist does not sign you up for a newsletter or any other mailing list.

Legal basis (EU/UK visitors)

If you are in the EU/UK, our legal basis for processing your email address is your consent: you gave it to us by voluntarily typing it into the form and submitting it. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to delete your data (see below).

Where and how we store it

Your information is stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS), in the us-east-1 (Northern Virginia, USA) region, in a database that is encrypted at rest. Access to that database is restricted to the systems and people who operate TicketHound; there is no public read access to it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising platforms on this site, so your waitlist signup is not shared with any ad network, analytics vendor, or data broker.

We may use ordinary infrastructure providers (currently Amazon Web Services) to store and process the data, under their standard security commitments, but they do not use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist signup until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the purpose above (for example, once the waitlist closes and everyone has been contacted, or after a reasonable period of inactivity). We have not yet set an automatic deletion schedule; this policy will be updated if we do.

Your rights and how to request deletion

You can ask us to delete your email address and any associated information at any time, for any reason. To do so, email hello@tickethound.ai with the email address you signed up with. We will confirm the deletion.

If you are in the EU/UK or California, you may also have rights to access, correct, or receive a copy of your data, and to object to or restrict our use of it. Contact hello@tickethound.ai for any of these requests.

Children's privacy

TicketHound is a B2B product aimed at support-team professionals. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact hello@tickethound.ai and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and site evolve, for example when self-serve signup, billing, or the live product replace the waitlist. We will update the effective date below when we do. Material changes affecting how we use previously collected data will be communicated by email to waitlist members where practical.
